Bay Fishing Trips
South Padre Island bay system is one of the HOTTEST fishing spots on the Texas Coast. Join us aboard our 49-foot vessel the Hard Bottom Too and enjoy some of the best fishing the Island has to offer. Captain Murphy’s experienced crew will work hard to put you on the BIG fish. Catches include sand trout, whiting, drum, shark, sheepshead, and more (depending on the season). Captain Murphy's provides everything you need to fish with; rod, reel, and all the bait and tackle. You may bring your own gear (limited to one pole per fisherman), but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it. You can even bring your own food and drink. The Hard Bottom Too has covered bench seating and a restroom on board.
*Children 2 and under are not allowed on bay fishing trips.
*Children 2 -4 years old are $10.00.
All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas SaltWater Fishing License. You can easily purchase a fishing license online by clicking the button below.
Online bookings must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to departure.

Private Bay Fishing Charters
If you have family, friends, coworkers, or just wanna get a group together for FUN FILLED day on the bay, we have the trip for you! South Padre Island offers a year-round fishing opportunity that just can’t be beat! Join us aboard our 49-foot vessel the Hard Bottom Too and enjoy some of the best fishing the Island has to offer.
